Other times you can actually start a new case and so on. So sometimes you only get options to call them. Oh and you can't rely on getting the same contact options, as they change at different times during the day apparently. Yes, even if you have full access to your account with passwords and all, EA still thinks it's a security feature if you can change your email without going through hell first.
Because at least for Origin accounts, they require that stupid verification code. Just sign in here:īut if it doesn't, then you're probably screwed. You SHOULD be able to type in the email address just fine. Because they will refer you to a webform, which apparently just doesn't work at all. īut as you are about to discover, EA does not give a damn and no one can help.
I really need some help here because I'm at my wit's end trying to figure this BS in much the same boat. This has been extremely frustrating and as far as I can tell there's no way for me to change the account linked to my Xbox Live profile. The only problem with that is it's a Hotmail account, and when I tried to sign into it, it says the account doesn't even exist anymore. Finally I decided I'd just log into my dad's old email, swap the password and be done with it.
After entering every possible password I could think of and none of them working, I thought I'd just go and change the account linked to my Xbox Account, but I guess it's near impossible to do that unless you have access to the old email. Kind of annoying I thought, but not a big deal. I just bought Madden 20 and when I opened the game I was prompted to sign into my EA account which was still under my dad's old email. I finally got around to switching the account over to my own email but it seems like it's screwed up my EA account. My Xbox account has been under my dad's old email for quite some time up until a few months ago.
